The 1% for Open Space Program is a Valley-Wide program in Crested Butte that over 60 local businesses participate in. Participating customers donate an additional 1% tax on the sub-total of their bill. The funds raised go towards the purchase and preservation of open space in the Gunnison Valley (Crested Butte area).
