Park City local Sam Harris opened Sammy’s Bistro to showcase his years of experience working as a cook under world-renowned chefs. After starting out with a setup in the local farmer’s market, he opened this permanent establishment just one mile from the base of Park City Mountain Resort in 2011 and has been wowing customers ever since. The menu boasts items such as Texas BBQ Shrimp and a Pulled Pork Sandwich, as well as a Grilled Wedge Salad and a Thailand-inspired Mahi Mahi Sandwich. If you’re looking for a way to engage in Park City’s Old West history, look no further than High West. Opened in 2006, they’ve been distilling their own whiskey and spirits at the distillery in Wanship while operating a bar and restaurant on Park Avenue. Along with a wide variety of unique and local drinks, you can find a solid selection of hearty Western fare such as Elk Chili and a Bison Burger. They also offer tours of the distillery for you to learn all about the whiskey-making process, and the saloon is located just a block from Town Lift, making it a solid apres destination.
