It’s OctoberFest Time in Sun valley

They are back and bigger than ever with 3 days of fun this year at Ketchum Town Square! Come get your German on at the Valley’s largest Oktoberfest with something for everyone all weekend. More information will be coming, follow the event page for the details, but add it to your calendar today! Here is the low-down on what’s happening.

And remember, no cover, the beer stein is your cover! Buy or bring a Sawtooth Brewery Pint Glass or Oktoberfest Stein and you are all set for life!
ALL WEEKEND

400 Square Foot Beer Garden Tent with 6 German Lagers by Sawtooth Brewery on tap! $5 pints, $8 Liters all weekend!

We will also have wine, root beer, and root beer floats available! Our beer will also be available to go by the grower and by the 22 oz. bottle, so take some home with you also! Lederhosen T-Shirts will be available!

Food trucks will be on hand all weekend slinging your favorite dishes as well!
We will have all of our beer garden games out all weekend as well!

FRIDAY 5pm-9pm

Friday we celebrate our local restaurants with a new type of restaurant walk: The Ketchum Kraut-Off and Kraut Fest!

We are inviting all local restaurants to bring their best Sauerkraut dish to be judged by a local panel of fermented cabbage experts for highly coveted
Kraut-Off Trophy! Sign-up for the contest by e-mailing Paul!

After the award is giving, we’ll let everyone try all of the Krauts during the Kraut Fest while listening to live music from Army of Pines!

SATURDAY Noon-9pm

The party keeps rolling on Saturday, comes relax with a beer and the family, ride the bull, play some games, and get your German on.

Beer Olympics will start at 3pm! Find your team of 4 and register at the Tap Room to compete for the 2L Glass Boot Registration is $40 which includes all the beer and a pint glass for everyone! Teams will compete at:

Corn Hole
Hammerschlagen
Mechanical Bull Riding
Volume Chug

Live music starts at 5pm with Yeah Great Fine, Animal Eyes takes the stage at 7pm Noon-7pm

SUNDAY Noon-7pm

Sunday we relax after Saturday and enjoy the fall! We will have all of our beer, beer garden, mechanical bull rides and the Ketchum Harvest Market. The Harvest Market is our farmer’s market, with handmade goods, foods, and fun. We will have a list of vendors for you soon for the market! Contact Paul to sign up for a booth!

At 2pm, our head brewer will do a homebrew demonstration on stage for everyone so you can see a batch of beer made! The demo should take about 90 minutes using malt extract. The demo is free!
