MEET THE OWNER

My roots go back to Northern Florida, where my family has owned & operated a family farm for over 7 generations. Growing up, my family made frequent trips to Steamboat, CO which is where I popped on my first pair of skis and ultimately fell in love with the sport of skiing and overall mountain experience.

After graduating from Florida State University, my girlfriend, Kelly Susin, and I traveled around the country and our paths led us to Mammoth Lakes, California.

During my time in Mammoth, I went to work for the Black Tie in town and it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the concept and brand. When an opportunity arose here in North Tahoe I jumped on it and did everything in my power to make it happen.

The Black Tie brand speaks loudly to me in more ways than one. Not only do I believe in its business philosophy but I immensely respect the people and energy behind it. The owners & staff behind the brand have a young entrepreneurial spirit that trickles down into every facet of the franchise. I am excited to take this location to new heights and I look forward to providing the excellent service that Black Tie is known for. Hope to see you soon!
