Snow totals from the last week top 20 INCHES!

Berthoud Pass shown above being plowed this last week as a small slide was triggered and no injuries were reported. Traffic was stopped for a brief period of time while crews could get in and clean up the highway. Winter Park Resort reported 20.50″ in the last 7 days, making the weather forecasters look silly. At the beginning of the week they were calling for 4-8″ max from the storm that produced more than two times that. Warmer conditions and bluebird skies yesterday and today have made for some really great skiing and snowboarding. Colder conditions move back in tomorrow and Monday with a great chance for some more snow. The national weather service has issued a winter weather advisory to be in effect from today until Monday January 25th. So do your snow dance and keep your fingers crossed than we get another big storm!
