Sustainable Business Practices

We are in the Ski business.  It goes without saying that snow is at the core of what we do.

At Black Tie, we believe it is our responsibility to join the efforts of fighting climate change by practicing sustainable business policies.

We were very proud to be named Steamboat’s sustainable business of the year in 2009 and we are proud to be a part of the growing number of other Steamboat businesses that believe in the importance of responsible business practices regarding our environment.

Here at Black Tie, we have integrated sustainability into our mission statement and that includes committing to educate and train our employees about sustainability.  Some of the sustainable practices we have adapted include new recycling programs, C02 emission reductions from our vehicles, and employee incentive programs for car pooling.
