The future of snowsports in Sun Valley

Anyone familiar with the Sun Valley area has heard of the little rippers.  A program run by SVSEF (Sun Valley Ski Education Fund) They train youngsters in 5 disciplines of snow sports including Alpine, Freestyle, Snowboard, Cross Country and Freeskiing.)

Each discipline has numerous levels, from beginner to someone much better than I at skiing or boarding. Although the program is in place to get kids interested in learning about the sport and doing it safely, not necessarily aimed at only ski racers, many of the children that take part in the program do go on to compete at some level.
